Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CONNECTED, operated by Connected Technologies (“we”, “us”). By joining the waitlist, creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use CONNECTED

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use CONNECTED. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
One person may not maintain accounts that impersonate others or evade enforcement actions.

3. Verification

CONNECTED offers merit-based verification to confirm that creators and people are who they claim to be. Verification is granted at our discretion based on authenticity criteria, is not for sale, and may be reviewed or revoked if information proves false or our policies are breached.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content solely to operate and promote the Service. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it.

5. Acceptable use & community rules

To keep CONNECTED safe and authentic, you agree not to:

Post unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative or violent content.
Impersonate others, run bots, or use fake or automated engagement.
Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
Distribute spam, malware, or attempt to disrupt or breach the Service.
Exploit, endanger or solicit minors in any way.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community rules.

6. Creator payments

CONNECTED supports subscriptions, tips and paid channels. Where you buy or sell through the Service, additional payment terms and applicable fees apply, and payouts are subject to identity and tax verification. You are responsible for any taxes on amounts you earn.

7. Intellectual property

The CONNECTED name, logo, software and design are owned by Connected Technologies and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you rights to our brand assets except as needed to use the Service normally.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connected Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
